20 nights of undiscovered cinema under the stars
Of course you can count on Pluk again this year! On Friday August 11 2023 we will settle down in Utrecht and from Wednesday August 23 till September 2 you can find us at the good old Stenen Hoofd in Amsterdam. Join us for one or more of the twenty evenings filled with great films under a starry sky. Ticket sales for the movie nights start end of July, when we’ve published the programme.

Pluk MINI: a day for the kids
Pluk de Nacht also organises an adventurous afternoon for the kids during the festival in Amsterdam. Sunday, August 29 from 2 p.m. With film and a lot of festive activities. Free entrance for everyone but adults should show their corona entry pass upon arrival.

Pluk on Tour @ Hembrug Zaandam
After a few summer evenings on the roof of the Volkshotel, we travel slightly north, to Zaandam. We settle on the industrial Hembrug site in the former projectiles and shells factory on the North Sea Canal. We will build an attractive pop up cinema there, which we will fill with comfy deckchairs. July 9, 10 and 11. Check out the programme!

Rain? Now what..?
We won’t be getting a sun-drenched August unfortunately but we’ll still open our terraces every day, and the chefs at the food trucks will keep on grilling. We’ll fire up the hot tub a little hotter, make bonfires, put up an extra parasol, play tunes in the tent and serve hot cocoa. In case of rain, the movie will always screen inside as well.

A day for the minis
The tiny Plukkers have lined up The Gruffalo for Pluk MINI. Sunday the 18th from 14.00 at Pluk Amsterdam. But there’s more fun in store. We’ll make our own scary Gruffalo-masks, play mega Mikado and giant Twister and build sand castles on the Pluk beach. We’ll wrap up the afternoon in full swing with the one and only Pluk MINI disco!

Programme Pluk Utrecht announced
The lineup for Pluk Utrecht has been announced and the deckchair reservations are open! We’ll be kicking off on Wednesday the 31st with a vicious British comedy about a family get-together in the tradition of The Celebration. Take a look at the full lineup.

“I often draw piles of naked people”
We’ve been following the Japanese multitalented Sawako Kabuki for quite some years now. She is known for her super cute, brightly coloured in-your-face films. In 2017 she was our Artist in Focus. This year we asked her to design the festival poster. She said yes straight away. Hurray!

The minis are ahead of us again
While we are still working hard on the programme for the big people, the little ones have already arranged a film for Pluk MINI: The Gruffalo. The film will be playing on Sunday 4 August during Pluk Utrecht and on Sunday 18 August at Pluk Amsterdam.
