After a few summer evenings on the roof of the Volkshotel, we travel slightly north, to Zaandam. We settle on the industrial Hembrug site in the former projectiles and shells factory on the North Sea Canal. We will build an attractive pop up cinema there, which we will fill with comfy deckchairs. July 9, 10 and 11. Are you there?
For once we don’t worry about the weather. We’re safe, inside, in that stunning former factory. Yet we think the sun will shine!

Friday July 9: O Beautiful Night: Although Juri is young, he lives in constant fear of dying. Nightly panic attacks for him are routine – but one night he meets a dark figure who claims to be Death incarnate.
Saturday July 10: Brother’s Nest. Two brothers have come up with a plan to kill their stepfather. In this Australian thriller full of pitch-black humor, ordinary lives take a turn for the worse.
Sunday July 11: À l’abordage. Get into the holiday spirit with this incredibly catchy French romantic film about Félix who accidentally bumps into the young woman Alma on a sultry summer evening. They laugh, dance and spend the night together in a park.

The factory is large, yet the capacity is limited. So make sure you order your ticket on time, via our website. A ticket costs € 11.50, this includes a cold drink (beer, wine or soda). Ticket sales will start very soon!

You are welcome from 8.30 pm. The movie starts at 9 p.m. There is also a short break.
Location
The Project.Fabriek is located at Hemkade number 18 in Zaandam. Pluk @ Hembrug is easily accessible by bicycle from Amsterdam and the surrounding area. From Amsterdam you take the GVB ferry service (Hempont) between Amsterdam-Hempontplein and Zaandam. This runs 24 hours a day and is free for pedestrians and (moped) cyclists. You can also easily get there by public transport. From Zaandam station, the bus (no. 65 and 67) takes 10 minutes to the stop P. Ghijssenlaan, then it is a ten minute stroll. Or take an OV-fiets from the station in Zaandam.
