No, it doesn’t sound like a laugh riot, this collection of short impressions (both fictional and documentary) about people’s last days on earth, inspired by newspaper headlines the director compiled over the years. He even named the production company that was started just to make the film Very Sad Pictures. But the end result is actually very light-hearted, alternating the fluttery style of an Instagram timeline with heavier moments.
