The fate of a 50 euro note is both the starting point and conclusion of this compendium of mini-stories, told by an easily distracted narrator.
There has been a crime. A masked man runs for his life, clasping a briefcase. His ultimate fate will become clear at the end of The Runaway. But first, a narrator will tell us all about the many elements that will be involved in his escape – all those things the runaway flashes by at top speed.
