Two children, on their own. A young brother and sister. No parents, no problem. After all, long and languorous summer days are for loafing about, having adventures and creating mischief. But at night you can hear a dog barking outside.
Visual artist Eva Jospin and director Adriano Valerio collaborated for the first time on Agosto. The short film was made during Monfilmfest 2015, an Italian festival where filmmakers are given the opportunity to produce a film within 7 days, which is shown at the festival immediately after. But that rushed nature is nowhere to be felt in the impressively languid Agosto.
