Chelou – Halfway to Nowhere

“How do you get out of bed in the morning?” is the first sentence uttered by Chelou in the opening of his song ‘Halfway to Nowhere’. Illustrator Polly Nor and animator Andy Baker offer a devilish, danceable answer to this query in their music video.
Polly Nor’s digital illustrations take women’s inner demons literally by having them morph into female demons. We keep wondering what the true inner psyche is, and what is artificial – demon or human. Animator Andy Baker –who also joined Nor on their 360-degree illustration The Green Room – breathes life into her fantastical jungle in which different worlds collide.
