Oh Willy

Because his mother has become terminally ill, Willy reluctantly returns to the nudist village where he grew up, in this wondrous stop-motion animation.

Or perhaps we should call it cloth-motion, since Willy’s wondrous world is created completely from cloth materials – from his felt body to the cotton toilet seat. But the beauty of Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels’ animation work, is that you forget about those materials. Instead, you sympathize with Willy as he flees into the wilderness, naked, emotional and confused.
