Dieses triste Kino nervt mich

A great interview from Die Zeit (in German) with director Jakob Lass about the making of Love Steaks. He hadn’t heard of the term ‘mumblecore’ before, the movement some German critics put his film in, but he doesn’t mind the label: “Put me in any box you want! We’re not the only ones working this way – I know of at least a dozen others doing something similar in Berlin. So a label may come in handy.”
