Cinema’s first great wizard

Sorry, this one is in French. We can’t help it that this great Flash-site about Gondry’s L’écume des jours wasn’t translated. But there’s still a lot to enjoy just in the visuals. If you click on ‘Le plateau de cinéma’ on the left and then on the moon, you’ll end up at a clip of Georges Méliès – the first great wizard of cinema, around 1900, and an important inspirator for Michel Gondry.
