Trigger warning: anyone with an aversion to crying babies might want to skip this short animation. On the other hand: it’s only a minute long, and to make for it you’ll see – as so often around babies as well as in animator Sawako Kabuki’s work – a beautiful naked woman.
Last year, Sawako Kabuki (Tokyo, 1990) was Pluk de Nacht’s artist in focus, and we showed all eight short, idiosyncratic, funny-erotic animations she had made up to that point. So her latest work, yet another fascinating succession of flowing and morphing line drawings, had to be included at Pluk 2018.
