Who knew improv could be this stressful. The title character of the caleidoscopic Madeline’s Madeline starts to lose herself in her role (as herself) so utterly, that the boundaries between theatre and reality start to blur. Think Synecdoche, New York, except it’s a feminist fable about an adopted teen coming of age.
